Majority of the culprits includes poor eating habits with low fiber intake, insufficient body hydration and lack of physical activity. Constipation is experiencing a bowel movement that is fewer than three times a week.
If constipated, stools are usually hard, dry, small in size, painful and difficult to expel. People who are constipated too often endure straining, bloating and a full bowel sensation.
There are people who barely have a bowel motion in a day and thought they are constipated. It is best to note that normal bowel movement ranges from three times a day to a minimum of three times a week.
Bowel motion frequency depends from person to person. Also, constipation is a symptom and not a disease.Almost everyone gets to experience these symptoms at some point in their lives.
Most constipation is temporary and not that serious but the negative effects can be serious. Understanding the cause of constipation may help anybody prevent experiencing such. For now, let’s take focus on lack of physical activity as a cause of constipation.
This symptom has been shown to be related to decreasing levels of physical activity and mostly common among the elderly.
Regular physical exercise is vital for the health and well being of every individual. However, there are a large number of populations who do not believe in the idea that physical exercise is essential.
It should be known that physical idleness is the most widespread threat in developing certain serious diseases, such as heart ailments, and serious physical symptoms, such as constipation and obesity.
Physical activity is regarded as one of the most effective ways in preventing certain diseases. It can reduce the risk of developing constipation.
The basic theory on the benefits of exercise on prevention of constipation is that the movement of striated, regular muscles stimulates the intestinal muscles to bond.
The contraction of muscles helps in expulsion of fecal matter without any difficulty. The intestinal muscles are kinds of smooth muscle that is involuntary and requires no conscious control. But with the aid of regular physical activities, the intestinal contractions are stimulated, thereby, preventing further the incidence of constipation.
A program on performing physical exercises in prevention and treatment of constipation is always beneficial. Physical activity is always an advocate of chronic constipation treatment.
Coupled with increase intake of dietary fiber and sufficient fluids supply to the body, regular physical exercise prevents the occurrence of difficult and agonizing defecation. Exercise, in general, is healthy and benefits the general well-being of a person.
Aside from constipation, physical activity release endorphins from the brain, this affects you and makes you feel happy, more relaxed and calm. This will affect your entire body and the digestive tract as well.
If you want to get rid of constipation but don't want or can't do it for medical reasons, you can do the following:
1. Drink plenty of water, at least eight glasses of water per day.
2. Add fruits and vegetables to every meal.
3. Eat a lot of high fiber foods.

To ensure that the ingredients are safe, they should be natural or should be derivatives of natural products. Mother Nature has provided many excellent resources for the fight against the signs of aging. For this reason, a lot of ingredients that are found in Anti aging creams already exist in the body or are available in different food groups. The creams merely augment these or make up for them where they are lacking. Of course, there are some ingredients that are not naturally available in food or in the body. Antioxidants are one of the most important ingredients contained in the creams. Antioxidants are available in different forms and from different sources. For example, Green Tea contains antioxidants. For this reason Green Tea extract is often used in the production of Anti aging creams. Another source of antioxidants is Vitamins A, E, and C. Antioxidants are essentially unstable molecules created by oxygen in the skin. These molecules often cause aging in the form of wrinkles that are caused by skin cells which are broken.
Retinol is derived from Vitamin A and it is the first antioxidant to be used in most Anti aging creams. Retinol is used in non-prescription Anti aging creams. However, there is also Tretinoin which is also derived from Vitamin A. However, Tretinoin is more powerful than Retinol and so creams containing this ingredient are available only through prescription. Good Anti aging creams will also include copper peptides. These are very beneficial, because they are said to improve the performance of antioxidants against the effects of free radicals. Then there are hydroxy acids. These are developed from fruits that contain sugar and are basically synthetic acids. There are a couple of hydroxy acids which works to exfoliate the old and dead cells that form the top layer of the skin. Then the growth of new, healthier and more beautiful cells is promoted, resulting in more even and younger looking skin. Kinetin is derived from plants. This substance is said to improve uneven skin tone and also reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It stimulates collagen and it helps to keep the skin moisture, which is very important in protecting the skin from wrinkles developing.
Coenzyme Q10 is believed to protect the skin from sun damage which can rapidly increase the appearance of the signs of aging. It has also been proven to diminish fine wrinkles that occur around the eyes. Any Anti aging cream that contains all or some of these ingredients will definitely improve the signs of aging and even help to delay them from appearing. However, it is not possible to totally prevent or reverse the signs of aging from appearing. This is a natural part of life and only the signs of the process can be managed through Anti aging creams.
